About the T&E Care 5K & Family Fun Run
The race takes place at Wilson Farm Park, a public park in Wayne. The course is a 5K on one end and a shorter fun run on the other, so families with young kids and people chasing a time goal tend to show up together. The park setting keeps things open and easy to navigate on race morning.
Bib pickup starts early on race day, so there is no separate trip the day before. The race is chip-timed by a local timing company, and age group awards go several tiers deep. The whole event is put on by an all-volunteer nonprofit, and the proceeds go directly to neighbors facing financial hardship.
