About the Super Seattle 5K
The course runs the paved inner path around Green Lake, staying flat the whole way. Near the end, the route peels off toward the ball fields and finishes with a short downhill stretch that invites a final push. It is a road race on a park loop, and the flat surface makes it honest for anyone chasing a fast time.
Bib pickup is race-morning only, at the tent on the east side of the lake near the softball fields. The race collects canned food donations at the same spot, for local food shelters. Dress for cold and wet weather; this one runs in the heart of winter.
