About the Sunshine 5K or 1-Mile Run/Walk

The course runs through Greenville City Park, weaving through the park grounds and crossing a swinging bridge. The route has a natural, shaded feel, and the park setting keeps things pleasant underfoot. There is a shorter option for those who want less distance, though the longer route draws the competitive crowd. Proceeds go to a handful of local nonprofits.
