About the Summer's Last Kick
Summer's Last Kick is held at Townsend Park, with a short course and a longer one running out of the same spot. The setting is a park, so the ground is accessible and the surroundings feel open. Dogs on leashes and strollers are welcome, though they line up toward the back so runners get a clean start.
Packet pickup and same-day registration both open early on race morning at the park itself. Parking is on the surrounding streets and there is no fee for it. The two distances start at separate times, so you can run both if you want without any overlap.
