The course runs through Lake Pflugerville Park on trails and paths that wind through the park's natural surroundings. The half marathon shape is a double out-and-back, so you will see the same stretch more than once and pass other runners heading the opposite direction. Some shade is built into the route, though this is a summer race and the heat is part of the deal.
