About the Summer Grove Baptist Church 5K & 10K Mission Race

The race is organized by a local church and raises money for missionaries working abroad and closer to home. The course welcomes runners and walkers, though the longer distance has a time limit that effectively closes it to walkers. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome. Jambalaya is waiting at the finish, along with live music and a chance to hang around afterward.

Packet pickup runs for a couple of days before the race at a running store inside a local shopping center, with race-morning pickup available at the church itself.
