About the Strong Like A Mother 5K
The race is held at Wolfe Park on Mother's Day morning, which gives the whole event a particular texture. It benefits a housing nonprofit that works with families facing homelessness, so the cause is present in the air, not just on a banner. Several distance options mean strollers and walkers share the park with runners.
No pets are allowed on the course, though service animals are welcome. Beyond that, the setting is a public park in Columbus, so parking and logistics tend to be straightforward for a morning event of this kind.
