About the Stride 4 Shelter: Benefiting Housing 4 Our Vets

The course runs through Riverside Park, starting and finishing at the North Pavilion near the river. It is a single-distance event on parkland terrain, the kind of setting where you get trees and open space rather than pavement and traffic. Runners go first, then walkers follow once the field is out.

Same-day registration opens in the morning, so you can decide late if the weather makes you hesitate. The race runs rain or shine either way. The start area is the North Pavilion, which gives you a clear landmark to aim for when you arrive. The whole morning benefits transitional housing for veterans in Rock County.
