The course runs through strawberry fields on a mix of concrete, dirt, grass, and a short stretch of track, so the surface shifts under your feet throughout. There is one gentle rolling hill, and the rest stays mostly flat. It is a genuine farm setting, which makes this race feel different from a typical road 5K.
