About the Santa To The Sea 1/2 Marathon, 1/4 Marathon & 5K
The half marathon starts at a giant Santa statue along the highway and works its way through strawberry fields before passing through historic downtown Oxnard and finishing at Channel Islands Harbor. The quarter marathon and the 5K both start closer to the water, so each distance has a different feel to it. The finish area sits at a marina landing.
The finish line festival runs most of the day at the harbor, with food booths, a kids play area, costume contests, and live entertainment. The race also doubles as a toy drive for children in the area, so many runners bring something to donate at the start.
