About the Storm Warriors Boardwalk 5k Run/Walk

The course runs along the Ocean City Boardwalk as an out-and-back, so you get a clean turnaround point and the same ocean views both ways. It is road underfoot the whole way, flat and open to the elements. The race goes on rain or shine, which along a coastal boardwalk can mean real wind. No bikes, skates, or pets on course.

This race benefits a local lifesaving history museum, and that connection gives it a specific reason to exist beyond just getting a run in. Parking at the inlet lot is free. Registration opens race morning, with awards handed out shortly after the last runners come through.
