About the Stories Trail Runs
The race takes place inside Cheyenne Mountain State Park, with routes that spread across the park's trail network rather than circling a short loop repeatedly. Views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range open up along the way. The timed formats let runners decide for themselves how far they want to push, while the traditional distance options follow select trails through the same park.
The main staging area sits at the start and finish and doubles as an aid station throughout, so there is a central place to return to between efforts. Race-day registration is available on site, and the organizers prefer cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
