About the Stonington Vineyards Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The course starts and ends at the winery, winding through the vineyard rows in a couple of loops. The footing is uneven in places, cross-country style rather than pavement, so trail shoes or something with grip are worth considering. The vines are all around you, which makes for a different backdrop than your average road race.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the vineyard, with race-morning pickup also available if you need it. After you finish, there are food trucks on site and a pour of wine waiting.
