About the Battle of Stonington 5K

The course loops through Stonington Borough, a compact seaside village, and comes back to where it started on Main Street. The surroundings are worth noticing: water nearby, tight streets, the feel of an old waterfront town. It runs certified distance, and the terrain is flat enough that most people treat it as a chance to push.

Packet pickup is available the evening before at a running store in nearby Mystic, with race-morning pickup on the library grounds at the start. Parking is on the street around the start area. There is food and drink after the race, along with an awards ceremony.
