About the 5th Annual Steven Derks Memorial 5K

The course runs on campus roads, a USATF-certified route. The surroundings are campus grounds rather than open roads, so traffic is not a factor. Cash prizes go to the top finishers overall, and age group awards cover a wide spread of divisions, so competitive runners have real hardware to race for.

Parking is at Faith Bible Church, which is also where registration and post-race food are set up. The church is not on campus, so plan to walk over from there. After the race, there is pancake casserole, yogurt, bagels, bananas, coffee, and a few salty options waiting.
