The course starts at the Civic Center in City Park, heads out through the surrounding residential streets, and comes back the same way. The terrain is gently rolling, nothing dramatic, with a turnaround point marked on the route before you wind back through the park to the finish. It is a road race on neighborhood streets, shaded in spots by the park at either end.
