About the F3 - Firm Foundation 5K
The course starts in South Park, dips onto a walking trail, then sends you out through the surrounding neighborhood streets before looping back into the park. The return stretch brings you back across a bridge and along the trail to the finish. It is a road race with a little trail mixed in at the start and end, mostly flat residential streets in between.
The race benefits Cove House, a local emergency shelter, so the entry fee goes toward something concrete in the community. Packet pickup and start logistics are both at South Park, which keeps the morning simple.
