About the Stearns County Fair Milk Run 5K
The course starts and finishes inside the Stearns County Fairgrounds, with the bulk of the run heading out onto the Lake Wobegon Trail and back. The trail stretch is paved and open, a clean out-and-back that keeps navigation simple. The setting on race morning is a working fairground, so there is livestock nearby and the full fair atmosphere already building around you.
Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen at the start line, so there is no separate stop to make the night before. After you finish, there is cold chocolate milk from a local dairy and snacks at the finish area, a calf photo opportunity, and an agriculture activity passport you can use inside the fairgrounds building. Parking at the fairgrounds requires cash.
