About the Stagecoach Run
The course heads south on a bike path out of Phoenix, so the surface is paved and the route is straightforward. Traffic is not blocked, so you share the path with the occasional cyclist or pedestrian, and the race notes ask for caution throughout. The proceeds go toward college scholarships for local student-athletes, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the run itself.
Parking at the start is tight, and the organizers ask people to carpool. A nearby park serves as overflow if the main lot fills. Registration and packet pickup both happen race morning, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before.
