About the St Stephen School Welcome Back 5K
The course runs along the West River path inside a state park on Grand Island, with open waterfront stretching alongside much of the route. The terrain is path running, which keeps things moving without big surprises underfoot. Proceeds go to a local school's parent association, so the entry fee lands somewhere tangible.
After the race, there is a beer tent for adults and a spread of kids' activities, including yard games, balloon art, and face painting. The post-race scene is built for families who want to hang around after crossing the finish line.
