About the St. James Elementary 10th Annual Royal Run Turkey Trot 5k
This is a school fundraiser run, and it shows. The course starts and finishes near a neighborhood pool, and the whole thing benefits the elementary school's programs and supplies. The route is in a residential part of Denver, and the pace of the morning runs from serious runners to families pushing strollers.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the school itself, with another window on race morning before the start. The finish area has a festival atmosphere, with age group awards across a wide spread of brackets. Parking is at the pool lot where the start and finish are set up.
