Lakewood, WA
This is a school walk-a-thon held inside the gym at St. Frances Cabrini School, with students from the youngest grades through middle school walking laps together during their scheduled class times. The route stays on school grounds, so the pace is easy and the whole thing runs more like a school tradition than a timed race.
