About the SSCPS Annual Road Race 5K

The course runs through Wompatuck State Park, a wooded area east of downtown Hingham. Road surface throughout, with the kind of tree cover that keeps things shaded even on a warm morning. The race draws a wide range of paces, from people chasing age-group placements to those running their first road race. Proceeds go toward a local charter school's educational foundation.

Packet pickup and same-day registration happen in the hour or so before the start, and parking is on-site at the venue.
