About the 2026 Spooky Sprint 5K
The Spooky Sprint runs the Frisco Highline Trail at night, heading west through the woods on paved trail before turning back to the start. It is untimed, which changes the feel entirely: people move at whatever pace they like through the dark trees, and the glow-in-the-dark wristbands at check-in are part of the atmosphere.
Packet pickup runs the evening before and again on race day at the Willard Recreation Center, with check-in happening onsite at the trailhead before the start. Day-of registration is available at the trailhead as well. The race goes rain or shine, so dress for the weather and the dark.
