About the Splish Splash - 5K - 10K - 1 Mile Fun Run
The courses run out and back along the Simon Kenton Trail, a paved path heading north from the Eagle City Soccer Complex. The terrain is flat road surface the whole way, with the start and finish in the same spot. Several distance options are available, so runners at different stages tend to share the morning without much separation by pace.
The post-race draw here is real: after finishing, participants get into a private party at the adjacent Splash Zone Aquatic Center, which has water slides, a lazy river, a bowl slide, and a competition pool. Food, drinks, and music are part of the evening. Children under a certain age get in free alongside a registered adult, but every adult entering needs to be signed up for the race.
