The Splash 5K is put on by two high school swim teams, and they make their presence felt on the course. Volunteers line the route and splash runners with water as they pass. If you would rather stay dry, you can grab a wristband at packet pickup to let the volunteers know to hold off. The mascots from both schools are out near the start.
