About the Southernmost Half Marathon and 10K
The course runs along the southern edge of Key West, with ocean and gulf water visible for much of the route. You pass through the streets that make the island what it is, including landmarks that most people only see on foot. The two distance options share the same general character: flat roads, salt air, and open sky in every direction.
The race starts and finishes at Higgs Beach, which gives you a clear landmark to orient around on arrival. Packet pickup happens before race morning, so plan to come in the day before if you want to avoid the start-area rush.
