About the Fantasy Fest 5K Run/Walk
The course runs along Duval Street in Key West, starting outside a bar called the Tiki House. There is a shot station somewhere along the route, which tells you something about the tone of the evening. A shorter option covers less ground for those who want the post-race party without the full distance. The whole thing happens after dark, during Fantasy Fest.
The post-race party is back at the Tiki House. Beer, themed drinks, and soft drinks are on the table, along with Twinkie cake. It is more of a street celebration that happens to include a timed run than anything resembling a quiet finish-line scene.
