About the Solidarity Sidekick down Route 66 - Stop 3- Joliet 6.6K
The course runs out of Route 66 Park along the historic highway itself, then turns back the same way, so you get a real sense of the road's character rather than a park loop. It is part of a multi-stop series tied to an ALS awareness mission, with each stop in a different town along the route.
After the run, there are refreshments and a post-race gathering with the broader series community. Sponsors bring food and activities to the finish area, making the time after the run worth sticking around for.
