About the Poultry and Pie Predictor 4 Mile Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run
The Poultry and Pie Predictor runs on Thanksgiving morning through Pilcher Park, on park roads around the Horticultural Center. The twist is the point: leave your watch at home, guess how long the course will take you, and whoever runs closest to their prediction walks away with a frozen turkey, a holiday pie, or a gift card. No chip timing, no pace alerts, just the park.
Parking at Pilcher Park is tight for this one, so carpooling or arriving early makes a real difference, and volunteers are out to help direct cars. Check-in runs in the window before the races start. Registration must be completed ahead of time, as there is no race-day option. Refreshments and snacks are set out after the races finish.
