About the Socktober Dash 2026
This is a Halloween costume race that doubles as a clothing drive for a local youth organization. The route includes trick-or-treating stops along the way, and there is a separate fun run for kids. Pushers and strollers are fine on the course. Costumes are part of the deal, and a costume contest adds to the atmosphere.
The event is held at the Teen & Kid Closet location, so the start area is tied directly to the charity being supported. Bringing donated socks or underwear is encouraged. Post-race, there are food and family activities on site.
