About the Snowbird Challenge (13.1 - 26.2 - 50k & Relay)
The course runs on the paved cart paths of a former golf course, now a nature preserve along a river. Rolling terrain, wooden bridges, and waterfall views break up each loop, and there is plenty of shade. Runners pick their distance by completing as many laps as they choose, from a short run up to the longest distance offered.
Packet pickup is at the start area in the hour before the race. An athlete village sits between the start and finish lines, and runners are welcome to set up a canopy and chair there. An aid station at the start and finish carries snacks and drinks; bring your own cup. Parking is a short walk away, so setting up at the village keeps you close between laps.
