About the Slow & Pokey Fun Run
The course runs through Green Isle Park in Allouez, and the whole point is that slower is fine. There is a full route and a shorter one for younger kids or anyone who wants less distance. The park setting keeps things open and easy underfoot, with no real terrain to worry about.
After finishing, a food truck is parked at the end, and purchases there benefit the Hemophilia Outreach Center, the nonprofit behind the event. The race itself also raises money for the organization, which supports families living with bleeding disorders in the area.
