About the SLC Track Club 49th Annual Winter Race Series
The course runs just west of the airport, on roads that tend to be flat and open. Each race in the series covers a different distance, so runners can do one or come back for all of them. Strollers are welcome, though they are asked to line up at the back. USATF sanctioning means dogs stay home, service animals aside.
Packet pickup runs the week before each race at a local running store on the east side of Salt Lake City, with race-morning pickup available if you reach out ahead of time. Parking is at the host hotel or in a lot just across the street. The hotel's indoor ballroom is open before and after the race, which matters when the weather is cold.
