About the 2026 Race for Campus Safety
The race is tied to the Lauren McCluskey Foundation and its work around relationship violence and stalking on college campuses. The course offers several distance options, so people show up at all paces and with all goals. The surrounding festival area has educational booths, cheer squads, sports mascots, and inflatable obstacle courses, which gives the morning a lot going on beyond the running itself.
The event is built around a festival as much as a race. Yard games and live entertainment run alongside the finish area, and the foundation's advocacy work is present throughout, with resource tables mixed in among the activities.
