About the SJMH Color Walk Run
The course runs along an airstrip, so the terrain is flat and open with long sight lines in every direction. Along the way, volunteers can douse you with bursts of non-toxic color powder if you want it, or you can pass through clean. The proceeds go toward supporting cancer patients at the local hospital's oncology clinic, covering practical needs like gas and food cards.
The start is at the airstrip itself, so parking and orientation are straightforward once you arrive on site. The charitable purpose is front and center: this one is as much about the clinic as it is about the run.
