About the Annual Gobble Gallop
The course runs through WVU Jackson's Mill, a historic mill and camp property. The terrain there is natural and varied, more camp roads and open grounds than pavement, and the surroundings have the feel of a working heritage site rather than a road race course.
Everything on race morning centers around the Barn area of the mill, which serves as the gathering spot for check-in and the start. Same-day registration is available before the gun goes off, and the entry fee is minimal, making it easy to decide the morning of.
