About the Sip and Stride 5K
The course winds through a working vineyard outside of town, so the surroundings are vines and open sky rather than pavement and storefronts. The terrain is natural and uneven in places, and the route uses part of the driveway, which closes before the start. It benefits a foundation that creates heartbeat keepsakes for grieving families.
Packet pickup is race morning at a tent on site, and the driveway closes shortly before the gun, so arriving early matters. The winery stays open through the finish and after, and there is wine at the finish line for those of legal age.
