About the Run the Vineyards - Running Hare Fall 5K

The course winds through a working vineyard on a large property outside Prince Frederick. The terrain is scenic rather than technical, with vines alongside the route and open views across the grounds. The entrance road is closed briefly at the start, which keeps the course clean and gives the whole thing an unusual, pastoral feel compared to a typical road race.

Packet pickup happens race morning at a tent in the winery's outdoor area, so arriving early matters. Spectators should time their arrival around the brief road closure near the start. Afterward, the winery and beer garden open up, food trucks are on site, and a live musician plays through the late morning.
