About the Shoe Science Turkey Trot 5K
This one starts and finishes at a running store on Main Street, so there is no guessing where to go. The course goes out and back through Aberdeen on open roads, with light holiday-morning traffic. Costumes are common, there is no timing, and the whole thing is built around charity rather than competition.
Packet pickup runs the evening before and again on race morning, both at the store. Afterward, stick around out front for light refreshments before you head off to the rest of your Thanksgiving.
