About the 23rd Annual SGT Nutter 5K - 2027

The race is held on the grounds of an Army National Guard training center, so expect a military base setting, with a marked starting line on the camp's main drive. The course is a standard road loop on base property. A physical therapy tent is set up before the start for stretching, and a kids' race runs separately later in the morning.

Parking is on the premises, but you will need to bring an ID to get through the gate. Packet pickup happens at check-in on race morning. The event opens with an introductory ceremony before the gun goes off, and a closing ceremony wraps things up afterward. The race benefits a specific New Jersey National Guard service member's family, named each year.
