About the Sea Girt 5K & Kids' Races - 2026

The course winds through the residential streets of Sea Girt, close to the shore. It is a short road race with live music somewhere along the way, which makes the route feel different from a standard quiet morning run. The race benefits local hunger relief and community programs, so the crowd tends to reflect that investment in the town.

Bibs are mailed out ahead of race day if you register early enough. For those picking up in person, there are tents near the library on The Plaza the evening before and again on race morning. The start and finish are in the same area, near a restaurant on The Plaza.
