This is a ruck, walk, and fun run held in Columbus in honor of Sgt. Melvin Gatewood. Rucking and walking share the course with runners, which gives the morning a broad, unhurried feel. The route is a short loop, manageable for just about any fitness level, and the military tribute at the heart of it sets a tone that is purposeful rather than purely athletic.
