About the SFC Ryan Gloyer Memorial Run
The race is held on the campus of the school named for SFC Ryan Gloyer, a soldier whose story the event is built around. The course runs through the school grounds, and strollers are welcome along the route. The morning has the feel of a tribute as much as a race, drawing students, staff, and neighbors who knew or have come to know Ryan's name.
Packet pickup happens at the aquatics center the evening before and again at the middle school lobby on race morning. Parking is in the high school lots, with security directing traffic. The roads on campus close for the race, so arriving early is worth it. There are post-race refreshments at the finish.
