About the Harmony Silvester

The main race starts on Mercer Street across from the Harmony Museum and heads out on a course that dips gently at first, then climbs one real hill before flattening out along the Connoquenessing Creek. The return leg finishes with a gradual rise back to the start. The shorter run stays entirely in town on a flat loop, starting near the Harmony Inn.

Day-of registration and packet pickup are both held in the Grace Church Gymnasium on Main Street, which also serves as the start area for the youngest participants. Changing facilities are available inside. Parking is at the church and nearby lots. The whole event is part of a larger New Year's Eve celebration in Historic Harmony, with a ball drop, fireworks, and vendors following the races.
