About the SFASU Homecoming 5K
The course winds through a university campus that the organizers describe as historic, so expect tree-lined paths and the kind of surroundings you get on an older campus rather than a road race through open streets. The race is a homecoming event, which means there is a festive energy in the air beyond the usual morning-of atmosphere.
Packet pickup runs across two days before the race, with options at the Student Center and, on race day itself, at the start and finish area in the hours just before the gun. That last window closes not long before the start, so showing up early gives you the most breathing room.
