About the Seiz Up: A Run for Epilepsy Awareness
The course runs along Pensacola Beach, so you are on the coast the whole way. The organizers offer several distance options, from a full marathon down to a shorter run, all routed along the shoreline. It benefits epilepsy awareness, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the finish line.
After the race, the Gulfside Pavilion hosts vendors and an awards ceremony, with age division and overall awards across the distance options. It is a beach setting, so the post-race stretch has that open-air feel rather than a parking lot or a gym.
