About the Señor Frogs Fiesta Run/Walk

The course runs a couple of loops around the Broadway at the Beach entertainment complex, so you see the same stretch of finish area before you are actually done. It is flat ground throughout, with the restaurant and waterfront surroundings of the complex keeping things lively. Runners and walkers share the course, and the festive dress-up atmosphere means plenty of costumes in the field.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a local shop on Executive Avenue, with a second window on race morning at Señor Frogs itself before the start. Parking is in the surrounding lots of Broadway at the Beach, and restrooms are inside the restaurant. There is a light buffet breakfast at the finish for distance participants.

Common Questions About the Señor Frogs Fiesta Run/Walk

Will I finish last at the Señor Frogs Fiesta Run/Walk?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 32:48, and the last recorded finisher came in around 44:34, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Señor Frogs Fiesta Run/Walk a good first 3.1 Miles?

It is a small race (188 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Señor Frogs Fiesta Run/Walk?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 18:12 while the median finisher took 32:48. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
