Keene, NH
The course starts and finishes at a community kitchen on Mechanic Street, so the charitable purpose is right there in the surroundings from the beginning. Wear something hideous: prizes go to the worst sweaters, and there is a raffle afterward. Light refreshments follow the run, and donations of food or money go directly to support the kitchen that hosts it.
