About the Scores Summer Series for Scholarships 8 Wednesdays
The course runs out of Wheelock Park, an out-and-back with some twists built in and a traffic circle thrown in for good measure, because Keene has a thing for circles. The terrain is flat throughout, and the park setting keeps it shaded and pleasant on a summer evening. The pace range is genuinely wide, from walkers just starting out to very fast runners.
Registration happens in the pavilion, and the start line is near the tennis courts. After finishing, there are light refreshments at the park. The series runs on evenings and goes ahead in rain, but not in lightning or thunder.
